Thomas Dean was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He moved to the United States with
his family when he was 3 ½ year old. His formative years were spent in the Downriver
community of Lincoln Park, Michigan.
Thomas graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Communications.
He later went on to become a Senior Director of Data Product Management and
Development for a major telecommunications company.
After college, Thomas turned to photography and writing as a creative outlet. He soon
found that photography was far more than snapping a picture. Photography became a
way to communicate his emotional response to the subjects he photographed.
Today, Thomas pursues photography and writing full time.
